Ending came when BDV caught Punk in mid-air and delivered a samoan drop to get the win.

Beth dominated the match on the way to victory

Finlay v. Hornswoggle
Hornswoggle brought a club in (everyone knows what it's called, but I don't know the spelling off-hand) when the ref went to put it outside the ring Hornswoggle brought another one in and hit Khali in the balls with it and Finaly then hit him in the head with it for the win.

Randy Orton v. Y2J
During the match Orton threw Y2J into the Smackdown announce table and into JBL. As Jericho was getting out from behind the table he shoved JBL out of his way. Later in the match JBL got in the ring and kicked Jericho in the head to give Y2J the DQ win. Pretty lame ending.

Edge v. Batista v. Undertaker
When UT's music started to play some old redgead woman came out from the back. I was a little confused until I realized that it was the Undertaker. Edge regained the belt with some 'help' from the Major Brothers.

In a somewhat predictable move, MVP got himself counted out on purpose to lose, but keep the title.

WWE Armageddon 2007 Predictions

Just a note before we get into the predictions - This PPV is the 2nd anniversary of Wrestleblogger Predictions.

Triple H vs Jeff Hardy
Dave Says: Well, they just spent the last month or so building up Jeff Hardy with some high profile wins like the one over Umaga. Now is the time win Triple H bravely manages to overcome Jeff Hardy's momentum to win a title shot and the circle of life is complete. It's good to be the king (or at least his son-in-law).
I Say: I found HHH and Hardy's post-match Survivor Series celebration a little odd. I found their post-S.Series alliance even more odd. Then it dawned on me. Hardy needed to be built up before Triple H could crush him. Of course. It's the same logic that HHH used a while back when he lobbied for Hurrican Helms to go over the Rock. HHH knew that he (HHH) would be defeating Hurricane the next week; it's like a win over the Rock. HHH wins.

Shawn Michales vs Mr. Kennedy
Dave Says: This one could go either way so I'm going to go with me emotional pick.....Kennedyeeeeeeeee.........
I Say: I see Kennedy going over. This is what I think (or hope) will happen. Kennedy will beat HBK and then HBK will become the ruthless HBK of old for the rematch.

Finlay (w/Hornswoggle) vs The The Great Khali (w/Ranjin Singh)
Dave Says: Oh, will the Great Khali EVER manage to get Hornswoggle up for a chokeslam? Ranjin Singh will be pinned by Hornswoggle. You can bank on it.
I Say: I think Dave thinks that this is a tag match. It's not. I think that Hornswoggle will cause Khali the match and Finaly will go over.

Beth Phoenix vs. Micky James
Dave Says: At some point Phoenix is going to get taken down but I don't see this PPV as being that moment. Beth Phoenix wins.
I Say: Dave's right. Beth retains. Perhaps they will restart that James/Murdoch angle and Trevor will cost her the match.

Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho
Dave Says: The Mysterious "J" is a huge Jericho fan. Myself? Not as much. He's good but his promos of late have been weak and he stole the Red Roosters haircut. I did like the fact that he commented TWICE on Eric Bichoff's bowl cut this past RAW. I too noticed how bad his hair looked. Orton will retain the title
I Say: I am sure that one or more title runs are part of Y2J's contract, but there is no way that it will happen this soon. I am going to say that Orton wins and retains. I see a chance that Orton will lose by DQ or C.O. though.

Batista vs Edge vs Undertaker
Dave Says: Undertaker will take his revenge on Edge and pulverize him but I still see Edge coming out the victor.
I Say: Edge will win and resume his title run.

CM Punk and Kane vs Big Daddy V and Mark Henry
Dave Says: One word for this match. Yuck. What in the hell is CM Punk going to to with those two human walls? Still, I give the victory to Punk and Kane. Now let us never talk of this match again.
I Say: Plain and Simple - Babyfaces win.

MVP vs Rey Mysterio
Dave Says: MVP wins
I Say: I think that the U.S. Title is beneath Rey, so I can't see him winning it. He will win by DQ though.
