RAW 6.5.2006 - News & Notes

Triple H is shown backstage talking to Shane. Shane tells him that if he reasons with Vince that he won't have to join the Kiss My Ass Club.

John Cena and RVD had the contract signing for their match at ECW 1NS. RVD tells Cena that he better be prepared to go to the extreme at 1NS and that there will be no chain gang at the PPV and that he will be booed out of the building. Paul E. then informs Cena that he will not only get a taste of ECW at the WWE v. ECW special but he will also get a taste tonight. Tommy Dreamer, a very old looking Terry Funk, a slimmed-down Sandman, and fat Balls Mahoney come out of the crowd and surround Cena. Cena tries to take them all on, but is quickly beaten down. They put Cena on the table and Sabu comes out and does a botched ARabian Facebuster on Cena. The Raw lockerroom empties out to chase the ECW guys away.

IC champ Shelton Benjamin faced Carlito in a non-title match. That means that Carlito won.

Vince tells Triple H backstage that he has just gotten an 'asshal' (an ass facial) in preparation of Triple H kissing it. Triple H said that he wasn't going to kiss his ass. Vince said that if Triple H could beat Big Show then he wouldn't have to kiss his ass. During the match the S. Squad attacked Big Show making Triple H lose by DQ.

Eugene w/ Hacksaw Dugan defeated Matt Striker with that shoulder block thing that Duggan used to do. Striker attacked Eugene after the match until Duggan made the save. Umaga then came out of nowhere and laid both Eugene and Duggan out.

Pittsburgh native came out and was about to cut a promo when Foley interrupted. They jawed back and forth and Edge eventually came out. They jawed a little more and then Angle gave Foley an Angle slam and Edge the ankle lock. Randy Orton then came out of the crowd and RKO'd Angle. Backstage Orton told Todd Grisham that he was accepting Angle's open challenge @ ECW 1NS.

Kane lost to Lance Cade by count-out when the same boring music and video started playing challenge Kane to go backstage. Kane went back and was attacked by the fake Kane again with a trash can full of pipes.

Speaking of Kane - How many damn times are they going to play clips from See No Evil !?! It seems like they are playing the same clips every half-hour week after week after week. It's enough already.

A promo played for 2 Scottish barbarian looking guys calling themselves the Highlanders. Apparently they are on their way to the WWE.

Nitro beat Charlie Haas with a roll up after he was distracted when Melina came into the ring and pretended to twist her ankle. When Haas ran into the ring he bounced off of the ropes and knocked Lillian Garcia to the floor. It looked like an accident, but it could be a total work.

Beth Phoenix w/Trish beat Victoria w/Mickie with the same Michinoku Driver-type move as she used last week.

Jerry Lawler accepted Taz's challenge to a fight at 1NS.

Shane was backstage with Triple H. When Triple H's back was turned Shane drugged his water. Triple H then switched water bottles with him when Shane was distracted. They both started chugging water like they were doing a commercial for Aquafina.

Vince & Shane are in the ring. Vince introduced Triple H. Triple H then starts to pretend like he's been drugged. He the starts staggering around and eventually faints. Vince then drops his pants and orders Shane to make HHH kiss his ass. Shane then starts acting drugged and passes out. Triple H then stands back up and Vince, realizing the Triple H was faking, turns around and gets pedigreed to end the show.
