WWE Summerslam Results

Let's take a look at how the predictions came out...

Chavo v. Rey
An average match at best. Eddie's widow Vicki came out and pleaded with both men to stop fighting, but they didn't. Vicki tried climbing onto the apron, but when she grabbed the top rope Rey fell off of it. Chavo then hit the frogsplash and got the victory. Although it was supposed to look like an accident it looks like the WWE may be going in the direction of turning Vicki heel by aligning her with Chavo and making it that she knocked Rey off the rope on purpose. Also, As Chavo was going for the frogsplash she was either yelling 'No, Chavo!' or 'Go Chavo!'. It was a little hard to tell.
Me: 1/1
David: 0/1
Dr. Mike: 0/1

ECW Championship
Big Show v. Sabu

A little shorter than I expected. It turned out being an extreme rules match. Ending came when Big Show chokeslammed Sabu through a table in the ring followed by a pin.
Me: 2/2
David: 1/2
Dr. Mike: 1/2

Legend v. Legend Killer
Hogan v. Orton

Orton got in a lot more offense than I thought he would. Orton hit the RKO and then pinned Hogan, but after the 3 count the ref noticed that Hogan's foot was on the bottom rope. The ref then ordered the match to continue and Hogan eventually won after the Big Boot and a Leg Drop.
Me: 3/3
David: 1/3
Dr. Mike: 2/3

'I Quit' Match
Foley v. Flair

A moderately bloody match. A lot of barbed wire was used as well as Flair getting bodyslammed into a pile of thumbtacks. Flair took a lot of punishment. During the match after Foley had been knocked off of the apron and onto the floor a physician came down, examined him, and decided to stop the match. The ref then called for the bell, but Flair refused to win that way so the match continued. Melina came down to plead with Foley to quit for his own good. Foley refused so she threw a towel in. The ref called for the bell again, but once again Flair refused to win without Foley actually quitting. Flair then went to hit Foley with a barbed wire wrapped bat, but Melina got in front of him. Flair was going to hit her, but Foley saved her by saying 'I Quit'.
Me: 3/4
David: 2/4
Dr. Mike: 2/4

World Championship
Booker v. Batista

A pretty boring match if you ask me. Batista won by DQ when Sharmell came in and started hitting Batista.
Me: 3/5
David: 2/5
Dr. Mike: 3/5

DX v. McMahons
Before the McMahons even walked down the aisle they called for the Spirit Squad to come out. They hit the ring, but were shortly destroyed by DX. The McMahons then called for Kennedy, Finlay, and Regal to come out. As they were battling DX Vince and Shane called Big Show out who got the better of DX. The McMahons then entered the ring to start the match. For about the first 75% of the match HHH was still laid out on the outside of the ring. Triple H eventually made it into the ring. In the middle of the match Umaga came out and gave both DX guys the Samoan Spike. As he was making his way back up the ramp Kane came out and fought Umaga into the back. Shane went for the coast-to-coast trashcan drop kick, but HBK superkicked him out of mid-air. Vince then received a superkick and pedigree before being pinned.
Me: 4/6
David: 3/6
Dr. Mike: 4/6

WWE Championship
Cena v. Edge
A decent match. Towards the end of the match Lita slipped Edge a pair of brass knucks. Cena then went for the FU on Edge, but Lita jumped into the ring and onto Edge's back. It looked like Cena was going to FU them both at the same time, but instead he just flipped Lita off Edge. As the ref was getting Lita out of the ring Edge nailed Cena with the knucks to get the pinfall.
Me: 5/7
David: 3/7
Dr. Mike: 4/7

Totals: I did it. I finally beat David to end my losing streak. I got 5/7 matches right while David only got 3/7 right. Dr. Lano managed to get 4/7 correct. I'm too tired to gloat right now. Mabye I'll gloat some on Monday.
