WWE Judgement Day Results
WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs. The Great Khali
This was a very one-sided match. Khali dominated for most of it except for when it really counts - the end. Khali ended up submitting to the STFU after being unable to get to the ropes.
Me: 1/1

Handicap match for the ECW World Championship
Mr. McMahon (c), Shane McMahon and Umaga vs. Bobby Lashley
I predicted this one dead on. Lashley pinned Shane and was announced as the winner. Umaga then attacked him and Vince took the belt and told him (Lashley) that he (Vince) had to be pinned to regain the championship.
Me: 2/2
Dave: 2/2
2 out of 3 Falls match for the WWE United States Championship
Chris Benoit (c) vs. Montel Vontavious Porter
I was wrong when I said that this would go all three falls. This might be one of the only times that I have seen a best of whatever match not go to all the falls. MVP wins with the Playmaker in the first fall and a rollup (?) for the second to win his first WWE title.
Me: 3/3
Dave: 3/3
Elijah Burke vs. CM Punk
An okay match. Punk wins as expected.
Me: 4/4
Dave: 4/4
World Heavyweight Championship
Edge (c) vs. Batista
The ending came out of nowhere in this match. Batista gave Edge a spinebuster and then Edge no sold it and got Batista with a schoolboy.
Me: 5/5
Dave: 5/5
Carlito vs. Ric Flair
Flair won.
Me: 6/6
Dave: 5/6
WWE Tag Team Championship
Hardy Boyz (c) vs. Cade & Murdoch
This match wasn't previously announced as far as I know. Dave picked C&M and after a little bit of doubt I chose the Hardys. Hardys ended up winning and keeping the titles. This feud will likely continue seeing as how there are no other serious tag team threats on RAW. The WGTT are still 2nd tier and other teams like The Highlanders, Cryme Tyme, and V Squared have become jokes.
Me: 7/7
Dave: 5/7

Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels
For the 2 or so days before the PPV I read online that Shawn had 'blown out' his knee last week, but that the match was still going to take place as planned. The reports had stated that he was going to be taking some time off after this match. At that point I was considering changing my pick to Orton. Then on Sunday morning I read that the earlier reports about Shawn's knee were overstated and that the injury was really an existing injury that he had for a few months now and that his schedule would become lighter, but it was nothing serious. I decided not to change my pick and stick with Shawn to win. As it turns out it looks like the early reports did indeed have some truth to them to the point that the WWE had incorporated the injury into the storyline. Supposedly the 'injuries' that Shawn received at the hands of Orton's attack last Monday put last night's match in jeopardy (storyline wise). During the PPV Orton attacked Shawn backstage and later on the doctor refused to let Shawn wrestle. Shawn did anyways and got little to no offense in the match (he wrestled with some glazed-over look in his eyes). The ref then had no other option but to call for the bell and end the match. After the ref helped Shawn to his feet Orton delivered an RKO which prompted Shawn's wife to run from the back to the ring to check on Shawn. Orton wins.
Me: 7/8
Dave: 5/8
Summary
I would have gotten perfect picks of I had changed my pick like I had planned. I got 7/8 correct which is great compared to the 0/5 I got for Backlash.
